Sometimes on a Date Night, you get to meet the family.  In the case of Palumbo’s Ristorante, the “family” is Edy and Paul Palumbo and their homemade Italian food, created with family recipes handed down from generation to generation.  The traditional dishes have a comfortable feel, like you could be eating at your Nonna’s house, and the casual atmosphere with brick walls, antiques, and family photos add to that warm ambiance.  But it’s the extra dose of handmade care in the way they prepare their food that makes Palumbo’s Italian dishes special.  “I grew up helping Dad in the restaurant business, learning to make pizzas, pastas and everything,” says Paul.  “Basically I learned from the best.  And we take great pride in our food and great pride in how we prepare it.  It’s not just something to eat.  It’s so much more.”

Sometimes a Date Night starts with a little afternoon delight.  No, not the kind from the popular 70’s song…I mean the kind of afternoon delight that they’re serving up at Wilson Creek Winery in their new Cicchetti Bar.
